Franklin Park Baptist Church is a church where your whole family is welcome and able to join an even larger family through our shared faith. To us, the church family includes the whole family not just mom, dad and the kids, but also grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. We are a multi-generational, family church that takes pride in our deep sense of community.
We are a part of the American Baptist Church-USA denomination. Our goal is to reach out to the community with the love of Jesus Christ. As an American Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, we serve the north and west suburbs. We welcome all who want to explore the truth of God’s word. You don’t have to have all the answers, we don’t have all the answers, but we trust that God is the source of all truth. Our worship service tends toward the informal, with both traditional hymns and some more contemporary worship music. The focus is to praise God and understand what it means to live as followers of Jesus Christ.
