Life Transformed - At Easter we celebrated Christ's resurrection - and we need to be celebrating that year round, but I want to focus on what it means in our lives day-to-day. I'll be talking about Life Transformed - when the Holy SPirit dwells within us we are transformed - not just into something different, but into something very specific - Christ-likeness through the fruit of the spirit.
May 12 - Life Transformed by Gentleness and Self-Control - Galatians 6:1-2; Romans 8:5-14
Gentle is not always considered a positive characteristic in our culture. Both sexes are being told to 'toughen up'. Yet the fruit of the spirit still calls on us to be gentle and to have self-control. Our self-control is also something that is less about our control and more about the control of the Holy Spirit.
